Job Description
Crowe is seeking a Manager-level Microsoft Business Central Consultant with strong accounting and finance expertise to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to finance leaders, helping organizations improve financial processes, reporting, and system performance while leading client engagements and developing consulting talent.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of ERP consulting experience, deep accounting knowledge, and leadership capability. CPA or CMA credentials are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Act as the functional lead for financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting
- Translate complex accounting, finance, and operational requirements into scalable Business Central solutions aligned with client objectives
- Advise clients on best practices related to financial controls, close processes, reporting, and system optimization
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and additional consulting or technology services
Engagement & Project Management
- Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and budget
- Partner with project managers to develop work plans, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies
- Communicate effectively with client stakeholders, including Controllers, CFOs, and Finance Directors
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships with a focus on client satisfaction
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to consultants and senior consultants
- Review project deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with Crowe standards
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of Business Central consulting professionals
- Contribute to the development of internal methodologies, tools, and best practices
Practice & Firm Growth
- Support pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposals, and effort estimation
- Collaborate with accounting, tax, and advisory teams to deliver integrated Crowe solutions
- Stay current on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central enhancements and related technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in ERP consulting or financial systems implementation
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV)
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting processes
- Experience leading client engagements and managing consulting teams
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
- Ability to travel as needed for client engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CMA certification
- Experience supporting professional services, manufacturing, distribution, or services-based organizations
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central functional certifications
- Prior experience in a public accounting or consulting firm

The wage range for this role is estimated at $102,400.00 - $204,100.00 per year.
