We are partnering with a fast-growing technology/SAAS company in San Francisco Bay Area that is expanding its Finance team and seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a 6-month consulting engagement with strong potential to extend or convert. This role sits at the intersection of Strategic Finance, Corporate FP&A, and business partnership, delivering insights that directly support leadership and drive growth.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a key strategic partner to both Finance and the business, owning forecasting, planning, and performance reporting while ensuring tight alignment between financial results and operational execution.

What You'll Do
  • Support the monthly close, forecast, and re-forecast cycles
  • Budget vs. Actuals analysis across Revenue, OpEx, and Headcount
  • Partner with business to support planning, spend optimization, and growth initiatives
  • Deliver variance analysis, trend insights, and executive-level reporting
  • Own or support financial consolidations and P&L reporting
  • Build and refine financial models for forecasts, annual plans, and long-range planning
  • Improve processes, reporting, and systems, including automation and planning tools
  • Support ad-hoc strategic analyses in a fast-moving, high-impact environment
What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Strategic Finance (SaaS or tech preferred)
  • Strong expertise in forecasting, budgeting, modeling, and financial analysis
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with business teams
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-changing environment
  • Detail-oriented, hands-on, and driven to continuously improve processes
