Job Summary
Our team is looking for a Data Manager for a Federal contract supporting application development and sustainment, cybersecurity, and data and systems administration for the Navy's Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP) program. This full-time position located near Portsmouth, NH will involve implementing best practices to help organizations build, improve, and measure their data management capability allowing for timely, accurate and accessible data across the organization.

The position work location requires 60% performance at the client's Portsmouth, NH facility and 40% from the VSolvit local office. As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company meetings, and completing other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities The Data Manager will be responsible for the following: Document all data sources and data flows for the iForecast Material, intelligent Class Maintenance Plan (iCMP), and for any SUBMEPP Data Analytics project. Develop and maintain a data catalog for all data within the SUBMEPP Data Analytics environment down to the data attribute level Create Data Flow Documentation that identifies what data fields are being pulled/used and how the model/application utilizes each data field Work with SUBMEPP IT to establish and document data refresh processes that ensures all data used by iForecast Material, iCMP and SUBMEPP Data Analytics is kept up to date Obtain and maintain access to Navy data systems that hold data used by SUBMEPP Data Analytics Execute data refresh processes in support of iForecast Material, iCMP, and other SUBMEPP Data Analytics projects Individuals performing the above tasks will need to have CSWF certification in CompTIA Security + Basic Qualifications SSCP required, or a qualifying degree from an accredited educational institution substituting for the CSWF certification requirement Five (5) years' experience analyzing customer data reporting requirements and establishing data analytics, data sources, and data management processes for clients and internal data analyst teams Five (5) years' experience analyzing customer data reporting requirements, performing data analysis, and developing reports/data visualizations/dashboards Proficient in using data analysis programming languages and COTS products, such as Python, PowerBI, Tableau and SQL Secret Clearance Required U.S. Citizenship Required Preferred Qualifications A Bachelor's degree COTS software product certifications associated with client software technology stacks Company Summary Join the VSolvit Team!
