This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our global network infrastructure.

You'll be tasked with designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network systems, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security.Role:Design, implement, and manage complex network solutions with a focus on reliability, scalability, and securityConduct detailed network analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal network operationImplement and manage Next-Generation Firewalls, ensuring network security across all layersConfigure and maintain tunneling protocols including IPSEC and GRE for secure network communicationDevelop and implement BGP routing policies, configurations, and optimization strategies for improved network efficiency and securityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support network infrastructureAssist with incident response for network issues, providing expert-level troubleshooting and resolutionMentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices in network engineeringRequirements:5+ years of experience in network engineeringDeep understanding of routing protocols, particularly BGP and OSPFExperience with wireless networks and troubleshootingExperience with Next-Generation Firewalls, tunneling protocols (IPSEC, GRE), and advanced Layer 2 protocols (Spanning Tree, LACP, HSRP, MPLS)Proven track record of managing large-scale network deployments and troubleshooting complex network issuesExperience with network security practices, tools, and protocolsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesBonus:Relevant certifications such as Network+, JNCIE, CCNP, or CCIEHands-on experience in implementing robust network security measures (ACLs, NAC, Port Security, AAA)Experience with Fortigate firewallsExperience with Aruba and JuniperWhat we offer: All our positions offer a compensation package that includes equity and robust benefits.Base pay is a single component of Astranis's total rewards package, which may also include equity in the form of incentive stock options, high quality company-subsidized healthcare, disability and life insurance benefits, flexible PTO, 401(K) retirement, and free on-site catered meals.

Astranis pay ranges are informed and defined through professional-grade salary surveys and compensation data sources. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, and the level and scope of the position.Base Salary$135,000-$175,000 USDU.S.
