Senior Project Manager - Cost Control Our client, a growing trucking company located in the football heart of Ohio (offices in Millersburg and Massillon), is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Control Project Manager to join our team. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for driving cost reduction initiatives throughout the organization.

This role will be based in Massillon. Reporting directly to the owner and working independently, the ideal candidate may have a background in lean manufacturing, experience as a controller or something similar. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to lead projects of moderate to high complexity to successful completion.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree, with a master's degree, CPA, or advanced management training preferred. Responsibilities Monitor expenses against budget allocations and review vendor performance. Partner with stakeholders at all levels to communicate financial, operational and performance data.

Set project goals and lead teams of various sizes with different departments. Develop continuous improvement processes and procedures. Stay updated on industry best practices and pricing trends.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Mentor less experienced team members and ensure accurate and professional work. Leverage available project management systems and tools.

Be able to forecast business opportunities and threats. Utilize transportation software solutions and database management software. Qualifications 5+ years management experience Mental agility and curiosity Experience with transportation software solutions, and database management software.

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree, CPA, advanced management training, or work experience preferred. Self-motivated and able to work effectively with little or no supervision.
