This Chicago based financial services firm is looking to grow their Data team and looking for a senior Data Engineer with experience building and maintaining scalable Data Pipelines with Azure Data Factory. This person will have 5+ years working as a Data Engineer, have built pipelines from scratch with at least a year of experience doing that with Azure Data Factory. They are also using DBT, so experience with that is a plus, but not required. This individual will be part of building a new global enterprise data warehouse.

• 5+ years, working as a Data Engineer, building Pipelines, consolidating data from diverse sources, and ensuring data quality.
• Minimally 1 year with Azure Fabric or Azure Data Factory and strong SQL skills.
• Ability to build data transformation processes around cleansing, normalizing, and enriching the data.
• Ability to optimize data pipeline performance and solve issues around data quality.
• Ability to work with operations and IT teams, to make sure build the infrastructure needed.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a cross section of end users.

• DBT, Python, Java, or Scala
• ML experience or exposure
