About The Job:

The mission of the IFA is to oversee state-related debt issuance and provide efficient and effective financing solutions to facilitate state, local government, and business investment in Indiana. The purpose of the IFA's Water Resources and Infrastructure Planning Program is to assist the IFA Environmental Programs with research and project management related to the State's environmental needs. This position reports to the IFA Director of Water Resources and Infrastructure Planning Program.

As a Project Manager, you will assist the Director in meeting the goals and responsibilities of the program, which currently include:

  • Lead Sampling Program for Public Schools and Childcare Facilities
  • Water Loss Audit and Validation Program
  • Regional Water Planning Meetings
  • Regional Water Planning Studies
  • US EPA's Drinking Water Infrastructure Needs Survey and Assessment

Assist with research, data collection, assessment, and report preparation on a variety of topics related to water resource and utility management.

Complete project management work, including managing agendas, coordinating meetings, and tracking progress on tasks.

What We Are Looking For:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in environmental science, geology, biology, policy, engineering or related field, an advanced degree is preferred

Highly flexible and adaptable in order to handle a changing and varied work load

Excellent communication skills for communicating with internal and external customers of all types

Resourceful researcher with the ability to analyze data

Innovative ability to plan long-term and “see around the corner” in order to see evaluate big picture implications and different scenarios in order to tackle complex and varied issues

Compensation Data

Salary Statement: $45,000 - $50,000

Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:
This role does not provide direct supervision to direct reports.

If this is an Intermittent position, the position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
