Function Overview

Whirlpool is seeking a qualified candidate for a Senior Business Analyst, HRIS role within our Global Human Resources Technology support team in our Human Resources organization in Benton Harbor, MI. This role will be responsible for the strategic roadmap development and day-to-day maintenance of the human resources applications. This role will become an “expert” for HR applications thus enabling them to become the main internal consultant for application enhancements to meet HR strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Enable the Human Resources function to optimize business outcomes using technology solutions to improve the overall workforce experience
  • Provide business process support by developing standards and guidelines for Master Data Management (MDM) and transactional data for HRIS applications
  • Develop standard governance and processes and continuously assess areas for improvement by leveraging tools and documented policies and procedures
  • Evaluate new functionality for each system release and align and educate HR business process owners
  • Partner with vendors on break/fix troubleshooting and business process changes
  • Maintain business process documentation and drive user adoption
  • Be resourceful and take initiative to continuously learn new system functionality and features
  • Provide education and guidance to offshore Back Office system administrators and outsourced vendor application support teams.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with HRIS cloud systems like Success Factors
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key business stakeholders and team members.
  • Gain an understanding of business strategies and business value of key initiatives.
  • Deliver new business systems solutions by executing projects from end-to-end, by participating in activities ranging from requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, process documentation, system configuration, test planning and execution, training documentation and delivery, deployment, to support.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science
  • 2+ years experience supporting Human Resource processes
  • 2+ years leading systems design, testing, and implementation
  • 2+ years project management experience

Preferred Requirements

  • 1+ years of operational support of a Success Factors platform
  • 2+ years in business requirements documentation
  • Ability to collaboratively and objectively assess the benefits, costs, and viability of multiple solutions
  • Experience driving alignment across a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Experience in utilization of user-centric design concepts
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with and present ideas to senior leadership.
  • Team-oriented individual who demonstrates initiative and leadership skills; able to work independently or in teams
  • Provides key input to facilitate the decision-making process
  • Ability to fully understand business processes and translate business requirements/regulations to a functional and technical solution
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to quickly learn new areas
  • Ability to self-manage key deliverables and deadlines
